Is body volume index a better measure of obesity than body mass index?

Since the 1970s Body Mass Index (BMI) has been used as a measurement of whether someone is a healthy weight for their height.

However, new thinking suggests that Body Volume Index (BVI) is a more accurate measure.

NHS local put a new BVI scanner to the test with two willing volunteers who are both classified as ‘overweight’ on the BMI scale.

How will they fare on the new BVI scale?
