Walsall Manor Hospital has recently undergone a £170m redevelopment, which has created state-of-the-art facilities with a stunning new main entrance on Pleck Road.

The maternity unit ran a pilot project offering reflexology to women in the final stages of their pregnancies in March 2010.

Later that year, the hospital opened its family health and diagnostics centre, which focuses on the care of women and children. It has two new gynaecology theatres, the hospital’s first dedicated child-friendly paediatric theatre, a sensory room, an audiology room and other services.
