Samuel Johnson Midwife-led Unit, Lichfield

The unit's philosophy is to support mums-to-be so they can have the childbirth experience they want. It has been designed to create a home-from-home environment, with complementary décor and facilities.

Anyone wanting to have their baby at the unit should arrange a visit to discuss their needs and ensure suitability as it is only suitable for low-risk pregnancies and births. Access to obstetric and medical care is available at Queen's Hospital, Burton upon Trent, about 15 miles away.
